Elective Office: Mason County Commissioner 2017-2024;

Commissioner Shutty represents Mason County by serving on a variety of boards, councils, and commissions as noted below:

    Kevin has served as a member of the Mason County Planning Advisory Commission, Vice Chair of the North Mason Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee and Vice Chair of the Board for the Great Bend Center for Music, of which he was a founding member.

    Employment

    In addition to serving on the BOCC, Kevin is an adjunct faculty member at Olympic College in the Social Science and Humanities Division. Previously, Kevin has worked as a Public Information Officer and Outreach Coordinator for the Washington State House of Representatives, where he also previously served as a Legislative Assistant. Kevin has also worked as a high school history teacher and as a Legal Assistant for the Pennsylvania State Police.
