West Nile Virus is a virus transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes. The disease can be serious or even fatal; in humans and animals. The best way to protect against mosquito-borne disease is to prevent bites by wearing protective clothing and using insect repellant when outside.

Don’t give mosquitoes a home.

You can reduce the population of mosquitoes on our property by emptying anything that holds standing water such as, old tires, plastic covers, buckets, pools, flower pot saucers, etc.
